Eldora sits on the east side of the Continental Divide about 18 miles west of Boulder, which means a drive to the mountain that doesn't involve I-70. The resort's live 2026-27 report lists 680 skiable acres, 63 alpine trails and 10 lifts, and the Ikon Pass page gives a 1,240-foot vertical and about 300 inches of snow a year. Elevations run from roughly 9,360 feet at the base to 10,600 feet at the top.

Terrain includes four Woodward-designed terrain parks and tree-lined powder stashes such as Salto Glades. Eldora also operates a 40-kilometer Nordic center. The Little Hawk lift, installed in 1967, is described as the oldest operating chairlift in Colorado.

Eldora is on the Ikon Pass and is operated by POWDR. In January 2026 the Town of Nederland approved a purchase of the resort for about $120 million, a deal that was still pending financing, a Forest Service permit and an Ikon agreement, so confirm current ownership and pass terms with the resort. Check current Eldora ski conditions before you go.
