Granby Ranch, in Colorado's Grand County, is positioned as a family-friendly area about 90 miles from Denver, with free parking. It has two peaks, East and West Mountain, that funnel to a common base: East is largely green and blue, while West has steeper blue and black runs. The Indy Pass lists a 1,000-foot vertical from 8,202 to 9,202 feet, and the resort's site lists six lifts including the Quick Draw Express.

The Indy Pass breaks the terrain into 31% beginner, 42% intermediate and 26% advanced, and the area has a terrain park and night skiing. The resort began as Silver Creek in the early 1980s and later carried the SolVista and Granby Ranch names.

The resort's website shows opening day on November 25, 2026. Sources disagree on acreage, trail count and snowfall, so we've left those figures out. Granby Ranch joined the Indy Pass for the 2022-23 season and is still listed. Ownership and operations have changed in recent years, so check current Granby Ranch ski conditions and the resort's website before you go.
