Copper Mountain's own trail report lists 2,538 skiable acres, 157 trails and 23 lifts, including three six-person chairs and a Telemix. The Ikon Pass page gives a 2,738-foot vertical and an average of 305 inches of snow a year. Published base and summit elevations conflict across sources, so we've left them out.

The terrain is naturally divided by ability: beginner runs to the west, intermediate in the middle and expert terrain to the east, and the resort calls itself the Athlete's Mountain. It has five bowls across three peaks and hosted World Cup alpine racing in 1976.

Copper opened in 1972, is a POWDR resort and is on the Ikon Pass. The resort's site lists November 6, 2026 as opening day for the 2026-27 season. Check current Copper Mountain ski conditions before you go.
