Onion Creek’s 18th Annual H-Town Chili Throwdown
About This Event
Onion Creek’s 18th Annual H-Town Chili Throwdown returns to the Houston Heights on Saturday, October 17. This longtime Houston tradition brings together local cooks and chili teams for an afternoon of competition, food and community. Competitors will put their best chili recipes to the test for cash prizes and bragging rights, while guests can sample chili and cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award. The event also features live entertainment, drinks and an afternoon of festivities at Onion Creek. Now in its 18th year, the H-Town Chili Throwdown has become a fall tradition at Onion Creek, bringing Houstonians together to celebrate great chili and friendly competition.
