Château Lascombes Wine Dinner

This Bordeaux Wine Month, Houston wine lovers will have a rare opportunity to experience one of the region’s most celebrated appellations when Château Lascombes winemaker Axel Heinz joins Chef Shawn Gawle of Camaraderie (608 W. 11th St.) for the restaurant’s first wine dinner on Tuesday, October 13. Château Lascombes is a distinguished wine estate in Margaux with roots dating back to the 16th century, offering unmatched diversity of soil and terroir and a style rooted in Bordeaux tradition. At dinner, guests will enjoy several wines from the estate with discussion by Heinz himself, including a side-by-side pairing of Château Lascombes 2016 and 2022 Grand Vin. The wines will be paired with a four-course menu crafted by the acclaimed Chef Gawle and his team, featuring dishes such as foie gras agnolotti with Madeira and chicken jus, Muscovy duck with honeynut squash and huckleberry, and a miso bombe with chocolate and hazelnut.
