Riddles and Customs of Mzansi Presented by Young Audiences of Houston

Step into the vibrant world of Mzansi through dance, music, and tradition! Village Elder and Keeper of Customs, Mama Lindi, welcomes participants on a cultural journey that explores the customs, wisdom, and traditions passed down through generations. Through lively African dance and engaging storytelling, Mama Lindi introduces audiences to the experiences of growing up, the importance of community, and the wisdom found in traditional riddles. As audiences experience the energy and rhythm of African dance, they are invited to discover how movement, music, and storytelling can help preserve cultural traditions and share knowledge from one generation to the next. Young Audiences of Houston sparks imagination through vibrant arts experiences for children and families. We champion Access so every child can participate, Education that fuels creativity and curiosity, and Community that celebrates diverse cultures – expanding equitable opportunities to learn, create, and connect through the arts.
