Founded in 1972, Clos Du Val Winery is a family-guided Napa Valley estate in the cool, rugged Stags Leap District. Its story began when French winemaker Bernard Portet identified the site after a search across four continents, launching the Goelet family’s winery. Clos Du Val focuses on farming-led wines described as vibrant, elegant expressions of its land and old-world traditions.
