About

Spence Vineyards is a Howell Mountain winery focused on handcrafted, limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon from its estate at about 1,900 feet elevation. Founded from a winning charity auction bid in 1998, the family-run project also produces Zinfandel, Petit Verdot, and select special varietals. Its wines emphasize the volcanic soils, steep slopes, and mountain character of the appellation.
